 Bio:
Greg joined Lee Insurance in 1994. He became a principal of the firm in January 2001 and president in mid-2008. He is a 1993 graduate of the University of Georgia, where he was a risk-management insurance major. Greg is also a graduate of the Appalachian State University Insurance Executive Program. He serves on several carrier agency councils and is active with the Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia of which he is a past board member. Greg currently serves on the board of directors for the Boys and Girls Club of Charlottesville-Albemarle as well as the Charlottesville Day School.

 Bio: Todd came to Lee Insurance after beginning his insurance career with Federated Insurance as a marketing representative. He previously was an assistant director at a residential school for at-risk teens; a vocational supervisor for adults with disabilities; and as a Ranger in the U.S. Army. Todd is a graduate of Radford University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He also serves on the Advisory Board for The First Tee of Charlottesville.

 Bio: Beth's responsibilities include commercial account management and financial analysis. She is a 1988 graduate of the University of Virginia, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. She has been at Lee Insurance since its inception. Previously, she was an account manager at Lee & Short Insurance. Beth is active with the Lake Monticello Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad.

 Bio: Ester is the founder and retired president of Lee Insurance Services. She served on the agency councils for Harleysville Mutual and Selective Insurance and also was appointed to serve on the State of Virginia Insurance Advisory Board. In the community, Ester has served the American Heart Association, including a term as its president; the Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad; and The Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic Virginia/Carolinas Unit.

 Bio: Sandy's responsibilities include commercial account management and general office management. Sandy came to Lee Insurance Services in 1999. She holds the Certified Insurance Counselor and the Certified Professional Insurance Woman designations. Sandy has worked in the independent insurance industry for about 30 years. She is a graduate of the USF&G Insurance School and the Fireman's Fund Insurance School.

 Bio: Laura’s responsibilities include heading our small commercial department and risk placement of commercial risks beyond the small commercial segment. She came to Lee Insurance in 2006 after working with Federated Insurance as a risk-management consultant. Laura is a 2004 graduate of Minnesota State University (Mankato), where she earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and was a four-year member of the women's golf team. She participated in the NCAA Division II national championships in 2001 and 2004 (when the team won the North Central Conference championship).

 Bio: Christi’s responsibilities includes plan design, implementation of plan design, client service and product analysis. She came to Lee Insurance in the spring of 2003 with a high proficiency in organization and customer interaction. Christi moved to Charlottesville to work at the Christian Aid Mission as its coordinator of Latin American missions. She is a 1994 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Spanish language and literature.

 Bio: Pat’s responsibilities include heading the personal insurance division as well as personal account management. She has about three decades of insurance experience and holds the Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR) and Certified Professional Insurance Woman designations. She is active with the Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia ACSR Committee (state chairman, 2003-2006), received the Virginia ACSR of the Year Award and served on agent advisory councils for several insurance companies.

 Bio: Amy’s responsibilities include personal insurance account management. She came to Lee Insurance in 2006 from State Farm Insurance, where she worked for more than three years. Amy volunteers for the Jefferson Area Board for Aging and is a “Big Sister” for a child in the Albemarle County School System.

 Bio: Herbert’s role at Lee Insurance includes accounts payable and accounts receivable. He has been in insurance-industry accounting for more than 30 years. He was with Acacia Mutual Life Insurance for 24 years where he was chief accountant. He has been the controller for Lee Insurance since 1989.
